Effects Of Cholesterol In Your Body

If you want a disease free life then you must be very careful and sensitive when it comes to the subject of your body and health. Everyone wants to live long but for this you need to be very health conscious and maintain your health properly and avoid all the bad stuffs that can damage your body and health. We all like to eat different type's foods but do we know that what we are eating can also bring trouble for us one day and have lots of effects which we can not escape later on? Excess of anything in your body is bad. Definitely the foods we eat everyday gets used up and have good effects on our health and that's why we live but we also need to be very much concerned about its bad effects as well. Just like that, cholesterol is such a thing that you body needs because it plays a vital role in many functions of the body. But when this same thing gets more in your blood that is when the trouble starts.

Every year a large number of people die because of heart disease and one of the key reason of heart disease is the excessive amount of cholesterol in your blood- yes, definitely I am talking about the bad cholesterol (LDL) and not the good cholesterol (HDL). When there is too much LDL in your blood, it builds up a plaque and deposits the fats on your arterial walls making it narrow, not allowing the blood to pass through it easily. And this is when they artery gets blocked and your heart fails to pump blood and the result is a heart attack. So it is now clear that having excessive LDL in you blood raises the risk of you having a heart disease sooner or later. On the contrary, the good cholesterol, the HDL, helps your bad cholesterol to be carried away from the artery and back to the liver which is then expelled from your body.

Foods rich in fats like red meat, eggs, dairy products, butter, cheese, and other processed foods should be avoided as they raise the blood cholesterol and the risk of heart attack. So people must substitute saturated fatty acids with polyunsaturated fatty acids which are found in olive, sunflower, margarine spreads and canola. Food substances like fresh vegetables, fruits, garlic, low-cholesterol diet, food rich in fiber and oak are really very helpful in reducing the cholesterol level in you blood and can keep you away from the bad effects of cholesterol in your blood.

Regular exercise or physical activity are one of the good habits that can really help you a lot and get you risk free of heart disease and any other bad effects on your health from other things. But if you are not concerned about the effects cholesterol have on you health or heart then your doctor or pharmacist must be your first point of contact. It is also suggested to live a stress free life as it is also responsible for causing you a heart disease and have lots of bad effects to your body and health. Eat well and be safe.

Welcome!!
